Tentative, unsure, vulnerable, lacking confidence, pessimistic and worried are characteristics often associated with feelings of insecurity. These feelings and beliefs undermine the individual's motivation to engage in activities which could create a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. These feelings and beliefs are the mental and emotional components of other self-limiting issues such as anxiety and fear. Insecurity focuses more on the beliefs and negative self-talk that can often be associated with the physiological aspects of these other issues. The words we use not only describe reality, but also create it. The difference between a Freedom Fighter and a Terrorist is a matter of semantics, but our emotional reaction to the assigned label is significant. The way we label an experience or event will significantly affect our emotional reaction to it. Telling a child that the food that he is enjoying is good for him can change his emotional experience to that food. What we tell ourselves shapes our emotional experience. Telling our selves that we are eager to perform some function feels very different than telling ourselves that we are anxious to perform it. We frame our emotional experiences with the words we use. Insecurity can be reframed.

The PsychoHarmonic Insecurity module you have selected addresses these issues both in the guided imagery narrative and the insecurity specific audio frequencies which are administered. Repeated use increases the conditioning effect.
