Fear

Fear

CA$12.95

Much like anxiety which is associated with autonomic arousal, fear often manifests itself with such physical symptoms as sweaty hands, dry mouth, cold hands and feet, muscular tension, increased blood pressure, accelerated heart rate and agitation. Unlike anxiety where the source of concern may often be unrecognized, with fear, the source of the emotional reactions are well known. Whether the fear concerns pubic speaking, airplane travel, bugs or clowns, the familiar emotional manifestations and avoidance behaviours exhibited are immune to logic, social pressure, or shaming. The fear has been acquired through a classical conditioning experience (does the name Pavlov ring a bell?) and must be deconditioned through a desensitization procedure.

The PsychoHarmonic Fear module you have selected addresses these issues both in the guided imagery narrative and the fear specific audio frequencies which are administered. Repeated use increases the conditioning effect.
